Christmas at the Mall

We walked around the mall and looked at all the decorations and saw santa and all the kids waiting for a picture then we took them to See's candies and let them pick out a sucker.

Linder Farms

We tend to go here every year with the kids because it is so much fun. They have corn mazes, corn shooters, corn box, hay rides, bouncer, cow train ride pulled by a tractor, etc....

The kids got pretty high on the bouncer.

We didn't let them buy any pumpkins. We went shopping in the Rawling's garden and picked out 5 pumpkins a lot cheaper!

The kids played for a long time on the hay stacks.

Andrew and Jackson really got a kick out of jumping from stack to stack.

Andrew's 7th Birthday

Lego's were the hit of the party. Lego's have been so good for my boys. Hours of entertainment.

This is a cake from pieces of my birthday cake. I made the racket into a race track and part of the court into a race car! Brilliant!

Andrew had his neighbors and classmates and church friends to his party. Elliot, Jared, Scott, Evan, Andrew, Steven, Jackson and McCall

They played this race car game that they played last year.

Brook's Birthday

I had a great birthday, Dustin surprized me with a birthday party with lots of friends and good snacks.

My cake was awesome. Dustin discribed my racket to Casey Conley, who started a cake business, and told here to create something to do with tennis.

The Killers

This was definitely the highlight of our month, apart from me turning 33! Dustin was reunited with two old high school friends whom happen to be apart of the Killers. Ronnie, the drummer, and Lisa, Ronnie's wife. Dustin was in a band called Go-Go-13 and Ronnie was in the band Atta-boy Skip. They attended the same school and knew a lot of the same people through their band connection and school. The Killers were here in concert and Dustin knew Brandon Flowers' cousin so we got hooked up with free tickets and the lead singer's cousin, Justin ask if Ronnie would like to hook up with Dustin after the show. So needless to say we were escorted backstage with the band after the show and ended up talking with Ronnie and his wife for a long time. We even took them out on the town and checked out their tour bus! So cool. We spoke with Brandon several times in our hour backstage. Dustin commented afterwards on Brandon's thick Utah accent!




We had a Luxury Suite Box. We stayed there for the opening acts then we headed down to our sweet front row seats!

Halloween Preview

We have made the boys costumes ever year and this year we splurged because they new exactly what they wanted to be and it's not something I was willing to make!

Redfish Lake

In February I tried to book a reservation at a campsite near Redfish Lake and they were booked. When the summer was coming to an end we realised we never made it to Redfish Lake so we decided to drive up for the day. It's about a three hour drive. We left in the morning and returned home in time for bed. It was actually very fun. I love that lake for the little kids. The lake is shallow for about 100 feet so there is so much play area in the water for the kids. They loved it. We rented a paddle boat and paddled far enough to see the beatiful Sawtooth mountains.
