In February I tried to book a reservation at a campsite near Redfish Lake and they were booked. When the summer was coming to an end we realised we never made it to Redfish Lake so we decided to drive up for the day.
It's about a three hour drive. We left in the morning and returned home in time for bed. It was actually very fun. I love that lake for the little kids. The lake is shallow for about 100 feet so there is so much play area in the water for the kids. They loved it. We rented a paddle boat and paddled far enough to see the beatiful Sawtooth mountains.
