My 34th Birthday!

just like my dad and I held onto the napkins from my 30th birthday.

Dustin went all out this year and got me flowers and my favorite.....ICE CREAM CAKE!
Lance's family came by for a quick song and cake.

September days

Jackson and McCall enjoy putting a puzzle together.

I found a book series Andrew really enjoys and we were off to see if we could check it out at the library.
I wouldn't let him buy it at the school book fair and told him we can check it out at the library.
It turns out this series is pretty popular and there was a long hold.

McCall thinks it's fun to bath with her little sister.

Fall Family Photo Shoot

We did not order school pictures once again. I make sure that we get out in the fall and take some family and individual photos to take place of those dreaded school photos. It's always what I want for my birthday!

Idaho City Ride

Andrew ran into a boy who was riding with just his dad and they
stopped to hang out for bit and the boys rode together.

McCall loves to play in the dirt and around the campfire when the boys ride.

Jackson likes to kick back at camp and take a break from riding.



Jack Be Nimble

Jackson's class had been working on nursery rhymes at school and were going to put on a special nursery rhyme demonstration at the school. Jackson chose Jack Be Nimble so we set to work on the costume. I found him some suspenders at D.I. and the coolest candle holder. The hat was not so easy. I thought I would just have him were a straw hat we picked up on our cruise but Jackson had something very specific in mind. He was picturing a hat that was in a book his teacher had been reading to them at school. I did not understand his explanation of the hat and he stared crying....I mean this hat was a big deal. Finally I took him to the computer to look online and he pointed out the had he had in mind. So we made it. He picked out the material and I had a friend sew it for me. (I have no sewing machine!) So when it comes time to perform they are right on time and we are 1 minute late and Jackson volunteers to go first. Well we had his hat and candle. So we made him re due it after handing him his hat and candle holder.

Field Trip to Zamzoes

The field trip was in the afternoon so Jackson was able to come along.

 

McCall liked watching the fish in the tanks.

 

Jackson loves bunnies and was excited to hold one.

 

Richelle was nice enough to let everyone get a gum ball with the quarter she gave them instead of a gold fish!! Thank you Richelle! We were all in agreement that we did not want to bring home a gold fish this year. The previous preschool group did and the fish did not last long and it was not fun keeping the tank clean.

Quick McCall Trip

We went to McCall for a quick weekend to do some work for Rick Lamm CPA and Lance's family came up late that night. Dustin had to work for Rick all day so we planned a hike to Boulder with Lance's family. Lance didn't want to hang around at Grandma's house all day and tried to get everyone out of the house. Cynthia was content to just read her book (the last book to the Hunger games) and I was excited to have her finish so we could discuss it. But Lance fininally got everyone to leave just before lunch. We grabbed some bread and peanut butter and we were off.

 Davis took some amazing pictures for his photography class at school.

 Sieera and McCall had fun together. Lance was even there to help when things got steep. I had my hands tied with Zaylie just under two months old.

Fall fun

The youth came by and cleaned out our van. They picked mothers in the ward with lots of kids to see if they could be of service! I said, "come on by!!"

That next evening we were playing outside with the kids when Craig came stolling along in his rusty old jeep.

So we hope in for a ride!

The boys were at school when McCall tried to dress up in army gear. The purse is a helmet and vest is Jackson's along with his star glasses. I did not dress this child. She has not let me dress her for a year!
