Hurricane

We had left our bikes down in southern Utah when we were there for Thanksgiving. We also came back for Christmas and rode them then when we came in the spring they were waiting for us. We headed straight to the rocks. The day was perfect! Low dust and not too hot!

Daddy took the boys on a little ride.

This time Zaylie even got a ride! It was a pretty long ride too. Dustin came looking for us and we were further than he thought.

Vegas

We walked by this bungie tramp thing in Circus Circus and thought this would be cool because the boys can do so much on the tramp. Well their little boys didn't way enough to get their feet down to jump big so it was kind of a waste.

St. George hiking

 

We took the kids into town to walk through theSt. George narrows. Zaylie and I stayed at the car while they hiked up the narrow sliver in the rocks them we met up with them on the top.

Here is a little house we went into or a little shelter get away for passer byes.

When Andrew feel like he is being picked on or gets into trouble for bugging his siblings too much he tends to come find Zaylie and spend some one on one time with her. Zaylie doesn't fight back with him!

Fire Station - McCall's Preschool Group

Field trip day to the fire station. It was St. Patrick's Day and Richelle made St. Patrick's Day cookies for the fire crew! The kids all got some afterwards at the cars...along with St. Patrick's Day glow stick and candy. Thanks Richelle! 

The boys were way into all the equiptment.....the girls...not so much. McCall was a little shy and stood back quit a ways.

We came to this same fire station with the cub scouts a month before. Fire fighter Chad ate up Zaylie both times. Brandon and Chad were great with the kids.

Jackson's 6th Birthday Party

 

Jackson had 9 boys come to his party. He invited several kids from his Kindergarten class. My mister social child! I had to take a picture of this present the neighbor boy brought over! It looked like a giant piece of candy wrapped up! I told him that as he was walking across the street and he had the biggest grin. His mom told me Mason was thrilled when I said that because that's what he wanted it to look like!

We started off the party by making individual pizzas. Then we had an obstacle course in the back yard while they baked. For the obstacle course I gave Dustin instructions to blow up all the balloons and put them on the trampoline during the obstacle course. At the end of the races we had a trash sack full of blown up balloons that forgot to be put on tramp......so when I watched the video I just imagined the balloons bouncing around!

We ate our pizzas then opened presents...lots of star wars lego sets....Jackson was loving it.

 

Then the lego clone cake. The arms turned out a little short....McCall's cake was definitely more fun to make! This one wasn't too bad. I had fun making it.

Jackson has been wanting a pillow pet and Mason remembered him saying this. So he got him a knock off version of the "As Seen on TV" pillow pets. I saw them at Costco after Jackson's party so I took his lamb and traded it for a bunny. Jackson loves bunnies right now so he was very excited!

AUSTIN - Lance and Cynthia were out of town and we invited Austin over, staying at Goff's, to Jackson's party and to stay Friday night! Austin felt bad he had no gift so he gave him the change that was in his wallet and a candy! So cute!

New Doll

This is a porcelin doll that I have had up in the closet for a long time that actually came from aunt Dannene. Dustin when on a business trip and the last few times he has gone away he comes home with something for the kids. So this time he had me pick up some things for them to put in his suitcase to give the kids. I bought the boys some trucks, like the ones out there in North Dekota were their dad was for HC Company. McCall I brought out that doll that has been in the closet. A few days after she received it we found out that she had a place for batteries. This video is of McCall hearing the doll speak for the first time!

Lego Contest

The lego magazine is looking for a new animal for their zoo. Something that no one has seen before. The contest is for ages 6 and under. So Jackson went to work, with some coaching from his older brother. He came up with Spike - o - Suarus.

If Jackson's wins they get $100 lego credit!

All three of the kids play this game Jackson made up called baby. It started with Jackson and McCall having a lot of alone time after Kindergarten. Jackson found a way to play something that both him and his sister enjoyed. I got out all my old stuffed animals, and some bought at Barbara's garage sale, a few year ago and they all kind of clinged to one. Jackson's is a rabbit (from the yard sale), McCall's was a baby moose (from my parents motel), now it's a dog, and Andrew's is a cat that belonged to me.

McCall's 4th Birthday

 The doll house game. They had 2 minutes to set up the doll house how they wanted it to look each taking turns.

 The party was a success. We made mini pizzas then while they were cooking we played the doll house game (I made up the game that morning). Then we eat our pizza, opened presents, and ate cake!


 

The cake was so beautiful. McCall is dancing with her.

When I cut the whole in the center for the torso I cut too deep and had to reinforce with gummy bears. So when I pulled out the doll gummy bears fell out. What a surprise! Some girls ate the gummy bears and some thought that was gross.

Dustin was even there via Skype! Zayie slept through half of the party then came and joined the fun.

This Johnny Jumper was given to me by Brandy years ago and I'm sure it when through a lot or not all of her kids. It's been through 3 of mine now! Holds up well.

The sprinkles are very thin shaved edible hearts. The cake baked from scratch. The frosting homemade butter cream! I can't wait to eat it tomorrow! The boys were suprised her party was without them! They will be at school :(
